The Modest Proposal

This meets the satire criteria by talking about current events and making light of the situation. He takes it as he is very serious about this. He does all his "research" and comes up with the plans. He calls it a "modest" proposal to make it sound like he thinks it's reasonable. He even goes to say the mothers will benefit from this. It's really good satire.
